The Christmas after we opened (1986), we changed our sign to read "Meowy Catmas." We were amazed by the response. We realized the potential when we noticed a family (who were not yet clients) posing in front of our sign for photos. They used them on their Christmas cards.

Through the years, we've tried to keep the Largo area entertained (and sometimes educated - "A spay in time saves 9"). In 1997, our sign was hit by a drunk driver (thankfully no one was injured - other than the sign). It took some time for the sign to be repaired. We had people coming in and calling just to find out when the sign would be back up. The Belleair Bee Newspaper did a story about the sign, including a photograph of it leaning against the oak tree out front - saying "Meowch."

When we meet someone new and they ask where we work - the description of our workplace is almost always followed by "Oh, the place with the sign!" People have actually shared that they drive out of their way from time to time just to see what it says.

So, in the interest of saving the planet (less driving) and in the interest of fun, we will be posting photos of our sign whenever we change it. We hope you enjoy.
